We welcome you to The Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Franklin Square. Each Sunday we have the opportunity to come together as God’s people and honor Him by worshiping in His church. We look forward having you join us!
We meet for worship on Sunday at 10 AM and 6 PM (except the first Sunday of the month where there is no evening service). Our worship service includes the reading and faithful preaching of God’s Word, prayers to God our Father, the singing of hymns, Psalms and other songs, all honoring and glorifying our Triune God.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated as part of our morning service on the first and third Sundays of the month. It is celebrated as part of our evening service on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. All those who have received Christ and are trusting in him alone for salvation, are committed to his church, and are seeking to turn from sin and to walk in obedience to his Word are invited to join in the feast of the Lord’s Table.
As a guest you are not expected to give an offering, but certainly may if you are led to do so. The giving of our tithes and offerings is an important part of our service of worship. This giving honors God our Father as we put him first by giving back to him a portion of what he has already so generously provided for us. This giving also serves to keep us from worshiping our possessions in the place of God.
Sunday School and Coffee Fellowship
Following our 10 AM service we have our coffee fellowship time with light refreshments.
We invite you to stay and to join us for this so that we can get to know you better.
Following our Coffee Fellowship time we have Sunday school classes for all ages.
There is a class each week for adults as well as classes for children, Pre-K through High School.
Nursery care is available during Sunday morning worship and during Sunday school for children ages 0-3 years old.
